Drainage needs a slow, steady rhythm. The session is built up in layers, without rushing.

Welcome and assessment
Ten minutes to talk. I ask how you are, what brings you in and what you have been carrying this week. The session is designed from there.

Getting settled
You change in your own time. Warm room, low light, quiet music and the Massada oils already warming.

The treatment
Slow, gentle, rhythmic strokes following the path of the lymphatic system. No pressure, and a feeling of deep calm.

Finishing and what to do next
A gentle come-back, a glass of water and two or three exercises or tips to hold the results between sessions.
How to prepare
- Drink water the day before and on the day.
- Avoid salty or ultra-processed food in the 24 hours before.
- Expect to need the loo afterwards: that is the sign it worked.
Afterwards
You will need the loo more than usual over the next few hours — that is a good sign. Your legs feel light, sometimes even a little cool. Drink plenty for the rest of the day and go easy on salt.
Important: this treatment is complementary. It does not replace medical diagnosis or medical treatment. If you have a specific condition — pregnancy, recent surgery, cardiovascular disease, cancer treatment — please tell me before the session so I can assess it and adapt.

- Lymphatic drainage gets the lymphatic system moving to clear waste, reduce fluid retention and relieve that heavy, swollen feeling in the legs. It is particularly useful in summer, after cosmetic surgery and during premenstrual or detox phases.
- How many drainage sessions do I need?
- For occasional retention, one to three sessions is usually enough. For deeper results — post-surgery, cellulite, chronic swelling — I recommend a course of five to ten sessions, weekly or fortnightly.
- Does lymphatic drainage hurt?
- No. It is one of the gentlest techniques there is: slow, rhythmic strokes with very light pressure. Most people fall asleep during the session.
- Does lymphatic drainage reduce cellulite?
- Drainage helps reduce the fluid retention that makes cellulite worse, but for established cellulite it works far better combined with wood therapy or the full anti-cellulite treatment.
- How long is a lymphatic drainage session?
- Each session lasts 60 minutes. If it is your first visit, allow an extra ten minutes at the start for the initial assessment.
- How much does the lymphatic drainage cost?
- €60 per session. There are also discounted packs if you book a course of several sessions.
